Chuck Owens
Chuck Owens, a Sacramento native,
began making art with clay at Del
Campo high school in 1991.  He
attended American River College for a
couple years before moving to
Arizona, where he received his BFA
from Northern Arizona University in
2002.  In Ohio, he earned his MFA
from Bowling Green State University
in 2005.   He now lives in Hollywood
Park in Sacramento and is a staff
artist at PANAMA POTTERY.  He
former position was as the lead
ceramic arts instructor at the
Southside Arts Center.  Chuck also
works in the community as a teaching
artist for the Sacramento Metropolitan
Arts Commission.  His work was  
featured in the 2007 California Clay
Competition.  Some images of his
